🤔 ABOUT THE ROLE:
We’re looking for a Senior Product Engineer to help shape and scale the core technology behind Suvera’s virtual clinic. As a key member of our engineering team, you’ll work at the intersection of healthcare and technology - building reliable, user-friendly tools that empower clinicians and enhance patient care. You’ll collaborate closely with product, design, analytics and clinical colleagues to create thoughtful, scalable solutions that support the delivery of chronic care across the UK.
This is a high-impact role within a fast-growing healthtech startup, offering the opportunity to influence both what we build and how we build it. You’ll be joining a team that values technical excellence, thoughtful collaboration, and a culture of continuous improvement.
- Competitive salary of £80–95k per annum (DOE), plus equity and up to 33 days holiday allowance, in addition to bank holidays.
đź‘‹ ABOUT SUVERA:
Suvera is transforming healthcare with a mission to keep people in good health, wherever they are. Partnering with UK general practices, we deliver a virtual clinic that supports patients with long-term conditions. Currently, we manage over 100,000 patients. Our ambitions are global, and we’re just getting started.
Our advisors include luminaries like Professor Bryan Williams [https://www.uclh.nhs.uk/our-services/find-consultant/professor-bryan-williams], a leader in high blood pressure research and guidelines in the UK. We are a diverse team of about 60 people, including clinicians, care advisors, and experts across various disciplines.
Backed by Google for Startups [https://www.campus.co/europe/black-founders-fund/] and Morningside Ventures [https://morningside.com/portfolio/venture/digital-health], Suvera is poised to become a global leader in healthcare.
đź’» WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
-
Build seamless, scalable systems: Design and develop reliable software across our TypeScript monorepo (SST, Node.js, Vite/React). You’ll focus on clean architecture, robust testing, and efficient tooling—helping us ship stable, secure code at speed while enabling future growth.
-
Deliver cross-functional impact: Work closely with clinicians, designers, and product managers to build intuitive user experiences that improve patient care. You’ll help translate real-world clinical, patient and partner needs into elegant, maintainable technical solutions.
-
Own the full stack: From frontend interfaces to backend services, infrastructure, observability and monitoring - you'll be responsible for end-to-end delivery. Our modern tooling (including SST and serverless architecture) means you can focus on building features, not wrestling with deployment complexity.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
