Senior Product Engineer

Senior Product Engineer – Eaton Bedhampton Plant

The Eaton Bedhampton plant (35 mins from Titchfield), with 140+ headcount across its aerospace division, plays a critical role in the organisation. The core business involves the assembly and testing of hydraulic parts for aeroplane motors and pumps, serving key customers including Airbus, Collins, Leonardo, Moog, and Boeing.

About the Role

We require a Senior Product Engineer to lead projects through the full development lifecycle, ensuring our electro-mechanical hydraulic components meet rigorous aerospace standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design & development: Evolve current hydraulic pump/motor designs using 3D CAD, leading the full lifecycle of electro-mechanical components.
  • Programme oversight: Ensure gated Engineering activities are completed within agreed review timeframes.
  • Technical documentation: Produce, review, or authorise technical data packs, design drawings, and BOMs, ensuring compliance with standards and specifications.
  • Presentations & reviews: Generate technical briefings for internal/external design reviews, leading both technical meetings and project updates.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Work with manufacturing, site operations, and remote teams to deliver on time-sensitive milestones.
  • Failure analysis & cost initiatives: Lead product failure investigations, mentor cost-out efforts, and promote ELSS (Enhanced Learning Systems & Solutions) practices.
  • Documentation management: Maintain a well-organised project filing system and support ELSS-aligned workflows.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
