Senior Product Engineer
Location: UK-Based (Remote First)
Contract: 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract (FTC)
Security Clearance: Active UK SC Clearance Required

About the Role
Our clients are looking for an experienced Senior Product Engineer (SPE) to play a key role in the design, governance, and strategic development of enterprise-scale Modern Workplace and Mobility solutions within a complex customer environment.
This is a strategic, design-led role with ownership of High-Level Design (HLD), technical strategy, design governance, and architectural assurance. You will work closely with Product Owners, Enterprise Architects, engineering teams, security specialists, and service management functions to ensure solutions are secure, scalable, supportable, and aligned with wider enterprise architecture and technology roadmaps.
The ideal candidate will combine deep technical expertise across endpoint management, mobility, modern workplace technologies, and endpoint security with strong architectural leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the creation, maintenance, review, and governance of High-Level Designs (HLDs).
- Define solution architectures, service strategies, technical standards, and technology roadmaps.
- Support Product Owners in defining service evolution, future capabilities, and strategic direction.
- Work closely with Enterprise Architects to ensure solutions align with wider business and technology strategy.
- Provide architectural assurance for new services, projects, and significant change initiatives.
- Lead technical evaluations, proof-of-concepts (PoCs), technology assessments, and innovation activities.
- Ensure solutions meet security, compliance, operational, resilience, and supportability requirements.
- Provide cross-product design leadership across:
- Windows devices
- Virtual devices
- Mobile devices
- Specialist and ruggedised devices
- Act as a technical authority across mobility, endpoint management, endpoint security, and Modern Workplace technologies.
- Engage with customers, technology partners, and vendors to influence technical direction and drive the adoption of best practices.
- Identify opportunities to improve technical resilience, service quality, automation, and operational efficiency.

Skills & Experience
- Proven experience creating, owning, and governing enterprise-level solution designs.
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles, design standards, and governance frameworks.
- Experience working within large, complex enterprise environments.
- Ability to translate business and customer requirements into scalable, secure, and sustainable technical solutions.
- Strong understanding of security, compliance, resilience, and operational best practices.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
- Ability to shape technical strategy across multiple technology domains.
- Experience working collaboratively with architecture, engineering, security, service management, and other cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make informed technical decisions in complex environments.
Essential Requirements
- Active UK SC Clearance – mandatory
- UK-based and authorised to work in the UK
- Proven experience working within large enterprise environments
- Strong architectural design and technical governance experience
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to work effectively in a predominantly remote environment
- Willingness to undertake occasional travel to customer, partner, and vendor sites when required
