Senior Product Engineer – PHP / AI
Up to £80,000 | Remote | Permanent
I'm looking for a Senior Product Engineer to join a growing product-led engineering team, working across the modernisation of existing applications before moving onto an exciting greenfield AI product.
You'll initially work within a small, autonomous engineering team, modernising internal products, developing new functionality and improving integrations across a wider product ecosystem.
Longer term, you'll have the opportunity to work on a greenfield AI-powered platform, designed to automate traditionally manual services and provide intelligent, real-time support to users.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Why consider it?
You'll get a strong mix of hands-on engineering, product ownership and technical autonomy, with the opportunity to move into a genuinely greenfield AI project.
The business is actively embracing tools such as Claude and Cursor, so it's a great environment for an engineer interested in how AI is changing both software development and the products being built.
If you're a Senior PHP Engineer who enjoys owning products, solving problems at scale and wants genuine exposure to AI-driven development, I'd be keen to chat.
