Senior Product Engineer (Full-Stack / AI) – Central London (Hybrid) – £150,000 + Equity | Hybrid
Explore Group is partnering with a well-funded, high-growth start-up transforming high-stakes, regulated enterprise workflows with modern, AI-first software.
Following substantial investment from leading VCs, they are expanding their core engineering team and seeking a Senior Product Engineer to take full ownership of greenfield feature development from day one.
The Role
- Partner directly with the founders and technical leadership to translate complex domain challenges into scalable, user-centric products.
- Build, test, and ship end-to-end features rapidly across a modern full-stack web and AI architecture.
- Design and implement intelligent agentic workflows and LLM-driven tooling integrated directly into core user experiences.

Key Requirements
- Startup Track Record: Proven experience thriving in agile, fast-paced early-stage environments with a high degree of autonomy.
- Full-Stack Proficiency: Strong production background across both frontend and backend development, ideally using Python / React or Typescript ecosystems.
- Modern Web Tooling: Solid familiarity with modern full-stack architectures, type-safe APIs, and responsive UI frameworks.
- AI & LLM Integration: Practical experience or demonstrable interest in building with modern LLM pipelines, autonomous agents, and context-aware systems beyond basic API calls.
- Systems & Cloud: Good grounding in event-driven patterns, background worker queues, cloud deployments (GCP/AWS), and relational databases (PostgreSQL).
- Product Focus: Strong product sense with an instinct for delivering reliable, elegant solutions to genuine end-user friction points.
