Senior Product Engineer – Design & Interaction
£100k–£130k + equity | London | 4 days per week in office
Neulinx have partnered with a 15-person, Series A technology company building highly interactive tools at the intersection of creative software, collaboration and AI.
They’re looking for a senior Product Engineer who sits unusually close to design – someone who cares as much about how a product feels and behaves as how it is engineered.
This is a senior individual contributor role working closely with the CEO and product engineering team, helping shape new products and experiences from their earliest stages.
You might currently call yourself a Product Engineer, UX Engineer, Creative Technologist or Design Engineer. The title matters less than your ability to move comfortably between product thinking, interaction design, prototyping and production code.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

React and TypeScript are essential, but this isn't a conventional frontend engineering role. We’re particularly interested in people with experience across product design, interaction design, rapid prototyping, Figma, design systems, motion, animation or creative coding.
- Experience with areas such as canvas, WebGL, Three.js, multiplayer, collaborative software, developer tools, SDKs, AI agents or spatial interfaces would be particularly interesting, but isn't required.
Most importantly, you should be able to show examples where you've personally influenced both the design and engineering of a product, rather than simply implementing designs produced by somebody else.
