The Role
This isn't just another SaaS tool. This is a regulated law firm, built from the ground up as an AI-native technology company, tackling a broken £multi-billion market. They're rebuilding UK property conveyancing, where one in three transactions fail and complaints are rife. The founder previously scaled a fintech mortgage lender to significant annual lending, and the company is backed by leading investors.
You'll join a small, generalist engineering team as an early member, shipping features within your first week. This is a seat for a Senior Product Engineer who wants to define the product, not just build it. You'll talk directly to users, form hypotheses, and iterate to shape the roadmap, working closely with the two founding engineers and reporting directly to the founder. This isn't a role where you'll be handed a backlog; it's where you create it.

The Work
- Drive product definition from user problems, translating fuzzy requirements into concrete technical solutions.
- Design, build, and deploy full-stack features across the entire product lifecycle, shipping to production within days.
- Develop sophisticated AI agents and LLM-powered systems that automate complex legal processes, moving beyond basic prompting.
- Work across the entire stack (TypeScript, React, tRPC, GCP, Postgres), owning features end-to-end.
- Collaborate directly with founding engineers and the founder, influencing technical and product strategy.
What You Bring
- Proven experience driving product direction and shipping features end-to-end in an early-stage startup environment.
- Deep full-stack TypeScript expertise, with significant backend depth and experience scaling projects in production.
- A track record of building or customising AI workflows, with the ability to explain your reasoning beyond simple LLM prompting.
- A product-first mindset: you start with user problems, not just technical solutions.
- Based in London and able to work from the Shoreditch office 3 days a week.
