Senior Product Engineer (TypeScript, AI/LLM) | Shoreditch, London | £100,000 - £150,000 | Hybrid - 3 days onsite

We're partnering with Alecto, the UK's first AI-native law firm, on a mission to make the law accessible to everyone. They're starting with conveyancing, a part of the legal industry that's slow, opaque and genuinely failing consumers: one in three property transactions fall through, and complaints run 3.3x higher than any other legal sector. Many firms still rely on post and fax.

They're now hiring a Staff or Senior Product Engineer to join as an early member of the engineering team, someone who wants real product direction from day one rather than a backlog handed down to them.

What you'll be doing

  • Shaping product direction from day one, talking directly to users and forming your own hypotheses on what to build
  • Shipping features to production within your first week
  • Building AI agents or LLM-powered systems that go beyond simple prompting, as a core part of the role
  • Scaling TypeScript across a modern monorepo (React, tRPC, Tailwind)
  • Reporting directly to the founder, with real influence over technical and product direction

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
