Fanvue is one of the fastest-growing creator monetisation platforms globally. We're an AI-powered, creator-first platform helping creators connect, engage, and earn directly from their audiences at scale. Following our recent Series A, Fanvue has surpassed $200M+ in annual recurring revenue, with triple-digit year-on-year growth, supporting hundreds of thousands of creators and millions of fans worldwide.
As Fanvue scales, we are building AI-native products that differentiate us in the creator economy. This role exists for high-agency product engineers who care about what they build as much as how they build it, ship quickly, and use AI as a core part of how they work.
£130,000 📍 Salary based on London. Other locations may vary.
🎯 The Role
We're hiring a Senior Software Engineer who thinks like a product owner and ships like a startup engineer. You'll own features from idea to launch, working directly with Product and Design to decide what to build, then building it across our TypeScript, React and Node.js stack. You'll put work in front of creators and fans fast, read how it lands, and iterate. You'll have real ownership of product areas from day one, with the autonomy to shape them. AI is central to how we build and to what our product does. You'll use AI-assisted development tools daily and build AI-powered features that change how creators run their business.
🚀 What You'll Do
- Own product features end to end, from scoping and design input through to launch, iteration and measuring impact
- Build full-stack across TypeScript, React, Next.js and Node.js, including the APIs and data models behind your features
- Work with Product and Design to shape the roadmap, challenge assumptions and find the simplest path to value
- Build AI-powered product experiences, including chat, content generation, personalisation and moderation
- Experiment with LLMs, embeddings and AI integrations inside real user workflows
- Use data and user feedback to decide what to build next and what to cut
- Leverage AI coding tools such as Cursor, Claude Code and Copilot to accelerate delivery
- Stay close to the people using what you build: talk to creators, read support feedback, watch the metrics
- Contribute to technical discussions, engineering standards and code reviews, and help less experienced engineers level up

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

👀 Who You Are
- 5+ years of professional experience building and regularly shipping user-facing product
- Strong product sense, with clear examples of features you owned and the results they drove
- Production experience with TypeScript and React, plus solid API and backend work in Node.js (REST, GraphQL, Next.js API routes or similar)
- Experience at fast-moving startups or scale-ups where you shipped often and owned outcomes
- High agency: you identify problems and solve them without waiting for direction
- Comfortable with ambiguity, turning a loose problem into a shipped solution without a perfect spec
- Fluent with AI coding assistants and curious about building with LLMs
- Relentless in execution: you ship, iterate and improve
- Open to feedback and generous with it
✨ You'll Thrive Here If
- You care about the outcome for users, not just the quality of the code
- You want to see your work in front of creators and fans within days, not quarters
- You prefer ownership and responsibility over narrow task execution
- You've built things on your own initiative, at work or outside it
- You believe AI-native development is the future
