Where you’ll work
Depending on the needs of your business area, we expect hub based people to be in the office at least once a week, and to go to OVO Connection events in-person.
You’ll be assigned to the closest one of our three hub offices, Bristol, Glasgow, or London; unless your role requires field-based work. Each hub has accessible spaces to park your laptop, is designed to inspire people, help them connect and bring big ideas to life.
Everyone belongs at OVO
At OVO, we are on a mission to solve one of humanity's biggest challenges, the climate crisis. And we know it takes all of us to change the world. That's why we need diverse people from all abilities, gender identities, ethnicities, ages, sexual orientations, life experiences and backgrounds to join us.
Teamworking for the planet
Everything we do here spins around Plan Zero. So, naturally, the team you’ll be joining plays a gigantic role in making that happen. Here’s how:
As part of the AER Pod, your code and product choices directly drive the UK’s energy transition. Here is how we make an impact:
- The Gateway to Green Energy: We build the first-touch digital experiences and onboarding orchestration that enable millions of customers to switch to clean energy easily and securely.
- Powering Zero-Carbon Propositions: We engineer the core platforms and APIs behind OVO’s market-leading green add-ons and smart tariffs (including EV charging, solar, heat pump propositions, and flexible energy incentives).
- Decarbonising Daily Living: Through innovative tools like Power Move and dynamic energy add-ons, our software rewards customers for shifting their energy habits away from peak fossil-fuel grid times.
- Modern, Resilient Architecture: We tackle complex distributed systems, modern identity (IAM) platforms, and scalable microservices to ensure our green tech ecosystem is fast, robust, and friction-free.
This role in a nutshell
As a Senior Product Manager in our Agile environment, you will be a strategic leader responsible for driving the product vision and roadmap for a larger product area or multiple products. Your role involves leading cross-functional teams, mentoring junior Product Managers, and ensuring alignment between business goals and customer needs.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
