Senior Product Manager
Senior Product Manager – Circuit Protection Devices Global Portfolio Management, UK/Germany (Hybrid)
About the Role As a Senior Product Manager at Honeywell, you’ll lead offering management for the global Circuit Protection Devices portfolio, driving strategic growth, profitability, and product innovation in both the UK and Germany locations. Reporting directly to the Senior Director, Global Portfolio Management, your work will shape Honeywell’s strategic direction, revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and competitive advantage—the cornerstone of our Building Automation mission: "Helping buildings become safer, more efficient, and operationally superior."
Key Responsibilities
Offering Management & Strategy
- Develop and execute global offering strategies for Circuit Protection Devices, aligning with market needs and profitability goals.
- Define, prioritize, and align on market opportunities based on customer insights.
- Collaborate cross-functionally (R&D, Sales, Supply Chain) to launch novel offerings.
- Oversee the full offering lifecycle: positioning, pricing, roll-out, and market feedback integration.
Product P&L Management
- Drive P&L targets for revenue, pricing, cost management, and productivity.
- Support Product Line Product Assessment Consortium (PAC MOS) for issue escalation/resolution, ensuring quality and on-time delivery.
- Shape product strategy via technology investment and roadmap forecasting.
- Overhaul Connected solutions & innovation models (e.g., SaaS, recurring revenue).
- Lead new product development (NPD), resource alignment, and VCM (Voice of Customer Management).
- Cost & Profitability Optimisation
- Manage gross margins, pricing strategies, and supply chain costs (design-to-cost, supplier negotiation, make-buy decisions).
- Improve working capital & inventory efficiencies through value stream analyses and S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning).
Strategy & Planning
- Craft distinctive product plans with strong financial outcomes, leveraging:
- Microeconomic principles, financial analysis, VOC (Voice of Customer), research, and Spanish Key marketing frameworks:
- Market segmentation
- Product positioning & competitive value analysis
- Pricing devises (pricing waterfalls, waterfall analysis).

- Orchestrate new product addition/deletion processes, engaging R&D, innovation partners, and sales.
- Drive product roadmaps tied to customer segments and willingness-to-pay.
- Prioritise SKU rationalisation and value-driven product innovation.

Value Management & Pricing
- Design custom VOC research (customer segmentation, value propositions, value equations).
- Execute advanced pricing strategies (use of pricing waterfalls, analytical upgrades).
- Develop dynamic value-based pricing to exceed competitive alternatives.
- Train teams on value pricing methodologies and partner with Business Pricing Leader for execution.
- Optimise transactional pricing tools and KPIs for financial impact.
Customer Relationship Execution
- Serve as a translator between technical/product teams and customers, verbalising value propositions in customer-centric terms.
- Conduct robust VOC analysis and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Train teams to deliver compelling customer pitches, ensuring Honeywell’s offerings lead to conversion and revenue growth.
Brand & Channel Alignment
- Support brand creation, management, and competitors analysis for strongest market presence.
- Collaborate with Customer Marketing initiatives to drive awareness and drive demand.
- Develop channel-focused strategies to maximise results, delivering tailored value to partners.
To Be Succeeding Here—You Must Have
- 10+ years in product management, commercial product leadership, or portfolio offerings.
- Proven leadership track record: successfully headed offering/launch teams.
- Deep strategic mindset—add credibility with a aha! moment framework when solving cross-functional challenges.
- Technical expertise in Circuit Protection Devices (or closely related B2B tech sectors).
- Influence & negotiation instinct: skill in proving value at senior executive levels.
- Sterling communication: clarity with experts, empatic design in customer-facing stories.
