Job Title: Senior Product Manager, Self-Service & Onboarding

Reporting to: Head of Product

Location: London - Hybrid - Working: 3 days in office, 2 days from home

ABOUT THE ROLE:

APEXX is pioneering payment orchestration, transforming the global payments landscape with cutting-edge technology and innovation. As a leader in Fintech, we're committed to excellence, driving forward-thinking solutions that empower businesses worldwide.

We are looking for a Product Manager to own APEXX's Self-Service & Onboarding domain. You will define and execute the product strategy that enables customers to onboard, configure, manage, and optimise their use of APEXX services independently, creating a scalable self-service experience that gives customers greater control and accelerates time-to-value.

This is a highly cross-functional role working across Product, Engineering, Design, Commercial, Customer Success, and Compliance to create scalable digital experiences that improve customer satisfaction and business efficiency.

You will own the end-to-end onboarding journey - from account creation and KYC/KYB orchestration to payment provider configuration, user management, and self-service administration - as part of a broader vision to give customers greater control over how they configure, manage, and optimise their use of the APEXX platform.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Own the vision, strategy, and roadmap for APEXX's self-service capabilities and Customer Portal, starting with the end-to-end merchant onboarding experience and progressively expanding customer control across the platform.
  • Evolve the APEXX Customer Portal into a high-performing, intuitive, and flexible platform that enables customers to understand their payments through actionable data-driven insights and recommendations, and take meaningful actions directly within the platform.
  • Design and deliver scalable self-service capabilities spanning merchant onboarding, account and user administration, API credential management, payment provider configuration, routing rules, and wider platform configuration.
  • Drive Product-Led Growth initiatives that increase adoption of APEXX capabilities, enable customers to expand their use of the platform, and unlock new commercial and market opportunities.
  • Use customer research, product analytics, and experimentation to understand complex enterprise needs, identify opportunities, prioritise roadmap investments, and measure customer and business outcomes.
  • Partner closely with Engineering, Design, Commercial, Customer Success, Compliance, and Operations to translate customer needs and product strategy into secure, scalable, performant, and intuitive experiences.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage AI to simplify complex workflows, automate repetitive processes, surface actionable insights and recommendations, and provide intelligent in-product guidance.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
