Career-change fit: 8/10
Full Description
You will own the roadmap for a core part of Diligent’s governance, risk and compliance SaaS platform, shaping how senior leaders and boards collaborate, communicate and make decisions in a secure, modern way. You’ll turn customer problems and market insights into simple, impactful product experiences, and work closely with engineering, design, and go-to-market teams to bring them to life.
In this Senior Product Manager role, you’ll spend your time deeply understanding customer needs, prioritising what truly moves the needle, and defining clear success metrics for everything you ship. You’ll lead a cross-functional squad, manage the product backlog, and launch features that drive engagement, adoption and measurable outcomes for our customers across the Diligent Platform.
Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll do (not all of it, just the important stuff):
- Own and continuously refine the product roadmap for your area, using customer insight, data and market trends to prioritise what to build next.
- Define and drive product strategy that aligns with Diligent’s vision for modern governance, connecting your roadmap to clear business and customer outcomes.
- Act as the voice of the customer: run discovery, validate problems and solutions, and translate insights into clear user stories and product requirements.
- Lead an agile, cross-functional team (engineering, UX, product marketing, sales, customer success) to design, build and launch high-quality SaaS features.
- Set goals, KPIs and success metrics for your product, track performance and user engagement, and iterate based on what the data and customers tell you.
- Tackle complex product and execution challenges by breaking down ambiguous problems, navigating trade-offs, and making clear, data-informed decisions.
Essentials
- Solid experience as a Product Manager building, shipping, and iterating B2B Enterprise SaaS products and AI assistants and Agents, with a proven track record of defining and launching successful features or products.
- Strong hands-on experience working in agile, cross-functional product teams, including backlog management and writing user stories.
- Comfortable leading customer discovery and validation conversations and turning qualitative and quantitative insights into product decisions.
- Proven ability to influence and align cross-functional partners and senior stakeholders without formal authority.
- Data-driven mindset: confident with metrics, experimentation and basic quantitative reasoning to set goals, measure impact and debug product issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex ideas simply to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- A bias for action and ownership: you’re happy to roll up your sleeves, make trade-offs and drive a project from problem definition through to launch and iteration.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
