The Flexera Workload Optimization Team is seeking a Senior Product Manager to join us on our journey. We are specifically looking for someone who has spent time building expertise around the professional operation of cloud-native platforms and who understands the real-world challenges of workload optimization, capacity management, scalability, reliability and cloud cost efficiency.
You will likely bring experience in many of the following areas:
- Kubernetes platform engineering
- Cluster autoscaling and workload optimization
- Public cloud services (AWS, Azure or GCP)
- DevOps and CI/CD practices
- Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)
- FinOps and cloud cost management

We are open to applications from experienced platform engineers, SREs and DevOps engineers who can demonstrate genuine interest in Product Management and who are motivated to apply their expertise to shape this rapidly evolving market segment.
As a Product Manager, you will:
- Own the vision, strategy and roadmap for a significant part of the Ocean service, taking a leading role in prioritization, planning, coordination and release activities of ambitious, innovative products.
- Go deep in product discovery to become the recognised expert on your customers' challenges through direct engagement, research, data analysis and experimentation.
- Build high-trust relationships across Product, Engineering, Go-to-Market, Product Marketing and Technical Support.
- Bring energy and enthusiasm to the team. You are a proactive self-starter with a genuine passion for delivery and a bias for action.
- You are someone who sees the bigger picture and understands how your team contributes to it.
Job Requirements
- Deep practical knowledge of Kubernetes workload optimization, including rightsizing, autoscaling, scheduling, capacity management and cost-performance trade-offs.
- Exceptional communication skills. You have a genuine talent for bringing clarity to complex technical concepts for a wide variety of audiences.
- An ambassador for your area with the ability to create conviction and drive action with cross-functional teams.
- A bias for action: we’re seeking someone who can move quickly to build, promote, and deliver products in fast-moving environments.
- Low ego: someone who is prepared to reason, describe and defend their approach transparently. Someone who actively seeks feedback and who acts upon it in the best interests of Flexera.

Qualifications
- 6+ years of hands-on technical experience across DevOps, Platform Engineering, SRE, FinOps or Product Management, combining hands-on experience with strategic planning and responsibility for execution of complex projects.
- Educated to degree level, preferably in Computer Science or another Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics subject.
- Demonstrable success working with Product and Engineering teams across the full product development lifecycle to translate ideas into loved and commercially successful products.
- Demonstrable experience of working with demanding customers in a B2B SaaS environment.
