Senior Product Manager, Accounting and Compliance Subscriptions
Hybrid | £100,000+ plus benefits | Permanent
Our client is a UK technology business that helps founders set up, run and grow their companies. Their platform covers company creation, compliance, accounting, and payroll. They have a large subscriber base and ambitious plans to grow over the next three years.
The role
You will own the accounting and compliance subscription services end to end. These services are well established. They have several customer journeys, a lot of operational involvement, and some built-up complexity. Your job is to work out what needs fixing, what can be left alone, and where the team should focus. You will work closely with engineering, operations, compliance, and commercial teams.

What you'll be doing
- Owning the product strategy and roadmap for the subscription services
- Improving the customer experience in areas that depend on both the technology and the operational teams behind it
- Mapping current journeys and processes to find the biggest pain points and inefficiencies
- Balancing customer needs with commercial, operational, and regulatory constraints, and making clear decisions
- Working with engineering on integrations with third parties, including government systems, accounting and payroll software, and payment providers
- Defining and tracking product metrics, and using them to guide priorities
- Mentoring other product managers where needed

What you'll bring
- 8+ years of product management experience, with increasing scope over time
- Experience owning a service end to end where operations and technology both shape the customer experience
- Experience with subscription products, ideally in accounting, fintech, legal, or another regulated area
- A good technical grasp of APIs and integrations, so you can hold detailed conversations with engineers
- Experience making product decisions under compliance or regulatory constraints
- Clear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
