Platform Product
Surrey, Hybrid (2 days)
We are working with a large, established consumer business that is investing heavily in the platforms behind its customer experience. They are looking for a Senior Product Manager to own a core platform domain, starting with the commercial engine that controls how products are priced, presented and configured across every customer touchpoint.
This is a genuine platform challenge with two big pieces. First, launching a new strategic platform, running it alongside the existing system and leading the business through a full migration. Second, turning a capability that relies heavily on manual, engineering-led change into something standardised, scalable and self-serve, dramatically cutting time to market and building a proactive roadmap well beyond that.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What you will own
- Product strategy, roadmap and measurable outcomes for a core platform domain, with scope to expand into other platform products over time
- Launch and adoption of a new platform, including parallel running, migration and decommissioning of legacy capability
- Discovery across commercial, operational and customer problems, making sure the team is solving the right ones
- Building self-serve capability for internal customers, reducing reliance on engineering for routine change
- Prioritisation across strategic work, operational improvement, technical debt and urgent business needs
- Alignment across Commercial, Finance, Operations, Engineering and external partners
What they are looking for
- Strong product management experience owning a platform, technical or internal product domain at scale
- Solid technical grounding, ideally from an engineering or architecture background, confident in architecture and data conversations

- Experience scaling and industrialising products rather than purely zero to one builds
- Confidence to challenge stakeholders, question assumptions and drive adoption of new ways of working
- Experience in businesses where digital and operational realities meet
- Exposure to pricing, integrations, content management, APIs or cloud platforms would be a strong plus
- Ambition to grow, with a clear path into broader platform leadership for the right person
