Senior Product Manager – AI

Inside IR35 via Umbrella | 3–6 months | Fully Remote UK + occasional Manchester

We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager with proven AI product experience at scale to join a fast-moving technology business and own a significant area of an AI product.

This is for someone who has actually shipped AI products at scale — enterprise products with thousands of users or consumer products with 1M+ users. Zero-to-one or early-stage startup AI experience alone won’t be enough.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

This is not a Product Owner, Tech Lead or delivery-focused PM role. You’ll own problem validation, solution validation, product strategy, prioritisation, and measurable outcomes.

You’ll need:

  • Proven experience shipping AI products at meaningful scale
  • Enterprise AI experience preferred; strong consumer AI also considered
  • Evidence of user/customer scale, adoption, or usage
  • Genuine product strategy and discovery ownership
  • Strong understanding of modern AI products and their capabilities
  • Experience working closely with Engineering and Design
  • A track record of making product decisions rather than simply managing delivery
  • Ideally a background spanning AI/data, strategy, or entrepreneurship
