AI Product Manager - AI Platforms Team
If you’re looking to take an exciting new direction with your HSBC career, an internal move can open the door to many opportunities, allowing you to take on a new challenge, and develop your skills. Bring your knowledge of our brand to a new role and grow yourself further.
We are seeking an AI Product Manager to join the AI Platforms team.
This role owns product management for a set of AI capabilities within HSBC’s Group AI Platform, sitting within CTO Platforms in the Chief Technology Office. The platform provides shared AI foundations that help teams across the Bank deliver AI solutions faster, more safely and at scale.
You’ll work closely with engineering, compliance, risk and internal customers to shape and deliver a clear capability roadmap across areas including Agent Hub, RAG, Documentation Intelligence, Portal, MCP and AI Gateways. Success looks like a multi-quarter roadmap that translates strategy into clear priorities and increments that land in production. You’ll help remove friction that limits adoption and convert real user needs into scalable platform services. You’ll also ensure responsible AI considerations including transparency, fairness, privacy and regulatory compliance are built into what the platform delivers.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
