We power people’s progress.

At Preply, we’re all about creating life-changing learning experiences. We help people discover the magic of the perfect tutor, craft a personalised learning journey, and stay motivated to keep growing. Our approach is human-led, tech-enabled - and it’s creating real impact.

We’ve just reached unicorn status with a $150M Series D, accelerating our vision to transform education through human-led, AI-enhanced learning. Today, 100,000+ tutors teach 90+ languages to learners in 180 countries - and we’re only getting started. As a category-defining company, we’re shaping what the future of learning looks like at global scale.

Every Preply lesson sparks change, fuels ambition, and drives progress that matters. Joining Preply means helping define the future of education at global scale, and building something that truly matters for millions of people, every day.

What you'll be doing day to day

  • Own the Lesson Insights product end to end. Strategy, roadmap, execution, and results for one of Preply's flagship AI experiences - across learners and tutors, web and mobile.
  • Make feedback learners actually act on. The core job of Insights is to help learners improve. That means ruthless prioritization of what feedback to show, when, and how - not showing everything the models can detect.
  • Connect insights to progress. Learners don't just want feedback on one lesson, they want to know they're getting better. You'll shape how per-lesson insights look, and structure how they ladder up into progress over time, working closely with the Progress squad.
  • Bring tutors into the loop. Insights work best when they strengthen the learner-tutor relationship. You'll design for both sides of the marketplace.
  • Drive reach. Maximize how many learners benefit from Insights by scaling to other languages.
  • Drive engagement. Maximize feature retention via useful & engaging design that makes users want to check their insights after every lesson.
  • Go into the data yourself. Pull your own analyses on how learners engage with feedback, what drives repeat usage, and where the experience is falling flat.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What you'll need

Must-haves

  • Consumer product craft. Substantial experience building consumer-facing, mobile-first products with frequent, habitual use. You have a keen eye for design and care about the details of a delightful experience.
  • GenAI / LLM product experience. You have shipped products built on LLMs or NLP at scale, and can discuss trade offs & approaches with the team - evals, hallucinations, quality variance, latency, cost - and how to design around them.
  • Learner and tutor empathy. You are genuinely curious about the people using your product and bring that into every prioritization call.
  • Deeply data-driven. You go into the data yourself, find the signal, and build a point of view from scratch. You do not wait to be handed an analysis.
  • Experimentation rigor. Solid grounding in A/B testing, experiment design, and how to read results without fooling yourself.
  • Strong communication. You can turn complex, ambiguous work into a clear point of view that drives decisions at the leadership level.
  • Bias for action. You balance conviction-building with quick, lean hypothesis testing - ship the MVP, learn, iterate.
  • Comfort with ambiguity. You can make fuzzy things measurable and drive alignment on what good looks like.

Nice-to-haves

  • EdTech or learning science background (CEFR, assessment, feedback design)
  • Experience with unstructured data - text, audio, transcripts
  • Experience with habit-forming products and behavioural psychology

  • Raise the bar - We raise our performance standards continuously, alongside each new hire and promotion. We build diverse and high-performing teams that can make a real difference.
  • Challenge, disagree and commit - We value open and candid communication, even when we don’t fully agree. We speak our minds, challenge when necessary, and fully commit to decisions once made.
  • One Preply - We prioritize collaboration, inclusion, and the success of our team over personal ambitions. Together, we support and celebrate each other's progress.
