This role is critical to delivering next-generation messaging solutions and platform capabilities that scale across Apple Services.
Description
As the Product Lead for messaging systems, you’ll lead a small team, set strategic direction, and be accountable for delivering capabilities that meet evolving business and customer needs. Success in this role requires simplifying complexity, aligning cross-functional teams, and maintaining a strong customer experience mindset. You’ll be hands-on while guiding a high-performing team to ship scalable, innovative messaging products that drive engaging customer experiences and business results.

Product
- Lead product strategy for Simple Messaging, ensuring alignment with Apple Services business goals and customer needs
- Define and deliver core capabilities and features that synthesize multiple partner inputs into a coherent, prioritized roadmap
- Drive product requirements, define technical specifications, and measure performance of Simple Messaging features
- Partner with analytics to measure impact, attribution, and inform ongoing investment decisions
Business and Operations
- Advocate for innovative Simple Messaging capabilities that serve business goals and customer delight
- Drive roadmap execution and ensure accountability through cross-functional collaboration
- Apply customer-centric and agile methods to continually test, learn, and launch new features and enhancements
Collaboration
- Partner closely with engineering, design, analytics to innovate and execute the product roadmap
- Drive collaboration with high-performing matrix teams to build scalable solutions and deliver impactful results within Apple’s ecosystem
- Collaborate with legal, finance, and privacy teams to ensure compliance and ship privacy-centric products
Minimum Qualifications
- Proven hands-on product management skills and team leadership experience
- Proven ability to simplify complex problems, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical mindset and detail orientation with ability to shift between strategic and tactical
- Data-driven decision-maker who draws insights from both data and customer discovery
- Comfortable partnering with technical and business stakeholders across all levels

Preferred Qualifications
- Passion for delivering customer experiences that meet Apple’s bar for excellence
- Knowledge of messaging platforms, martech, product marketing, or SaaS/subscriptions is a plus
- Naturally curious with strong initiation, and motivated by emerging technologies and new innovations
- Managing teams internationally is a plus
