Senior Product Manager - Fintech
Location: London – hybrid working
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: £70,000–£100,000 depending on experience
We’re working with a growing, consumer-focused fintech looking for a Senior Product Manager to take ownership of an important area of its product offering.
This is a brilliant opportunity for someone who enjoys working with a high degree of autonomy, getting close to customers and commercial problems, and taking products from early thinking through to delivery and iteration.
You’ll join a collaborative, fast-moving product environment where Product works closely with Engineering, Design and senior leadership, with plenty of opportunity to influence both the product itself and how the team works.
The Role
As Senior Product Manager, you’ll own the strategy and roadmap for a core area of the business, balancing customer needs, commercial priorities and the requirements of operating within a regulated environment.
- You’ll work across the full product lifecycle, from discovery and validation through to delivery, measurement and ongoing optimisation.
- You’ll also work closely with teams across the wider business, including Operations, Risk, Compliance and Commercial, as well as external partners where required.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Own the strategy and roadmap for a key area of the product.
- Identify and prioritise opportunities based on customer insight, data and commercial impact.
- Lead discovery and turn ideas into clearly defined product requirements.
- Partner closely with Engineering and Design throughout the development lifecycle.
- Use data and product metrics to understand performance and inform priorities.
- Experiment with AI and emerging tools to improve research, discovery, prototyping and delivery.
- Work effectively with stakeholders across regulated and commercial functions.
- Manage relationships with relevant external partners and providers.
- Make pragmatic decisions and maintain momentum in a fast-moving environment.
- Continuously improve the customer experience after launch.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

About You
We’re looking for an experienced Product Manager who is comfortable taking genuine ownership rather than simply managing a backlog.
You’ll ideally bring:
- Strong product management experience within a scale-up, start-up or similarly fast-paced environment.
- Excellent product fundamentals across discovery, prioritisation, delivery and iteration.
- The ability to translate complex problems into clear requirements and intuitive customer experiences.
- A strong analytical mindset and confidence using data to make decisions.
- Commercial awareness and an understanding of how product decisions impact wider business outcomes.
- Curiosity around AI, including practical experience incorporating AI tools into your day-to-day work.
- Strong stakeholder management skills across technical and non-technical teams.
- Confidence operating with ambiguity and making decisions without perfect information.
- Clear, concise communication and the ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders.
Experience within fintech, financial services or another regulated environment would be advantageous, but isn’t essential. Familiarity with UK financial regulation would also be beneficial.
