Role Summary:
We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager to shape the products and services Cambridge Cognition provides to pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies for use in clinical trials. This is a strategic, commercially minded role at the intersection of customer needs, science, technology, regulation and drug development.
You will identify important customer problems, assess market opportunities and translate insight into product strategy and investment decisions. This includes building rigorous commercial cases using market sizing, pricing and revenue assumptions, costs, ROI and sensitivity analysis, while understanding the scientific, regulatory and operational evidence required for adoption in clinical trials.
What you’ll be doing:
Customer Discovery & Market Insight
- Plan and conduct structured qualitative research with pharmaceutical and biotechnology customers, including clinical scientists, clinical operations, digital health and therapeutic-area stakeholders.
- Synthesise customer interviews, commercial feedback, product data and market intelligence to identify unmet needs, adoption barriers and product opportunities.
- Conduct market sizing, segmentation and competitor analysis, including competitor offerings, evidence, positioning and pricing.
- Use win/loss, pipeline and customer insight to inform product priorities and identify emerging needs.
Commercial Strategy & Business Cases
- Build commercial cases for product investments and new markets, combining customer evidence with TAM/SAM, expected adoption, pricing, revenue potential, development and operating costs, margin and strategic fit.
- Develop ROI and financial models, including payback periods, scenario and sensitivity analysis, with clear assumptions around price, volume, adoption and cost.
- Partner with Finance and Commercial teams to test assumptions, define measurable success criteria, and revisit investment cases as evidence develops.
- Contribute to pricing, packaging and business-model decisions for products and services sold into pharmaceutical clinical development.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
