Senior Product Manager - Consumer

Working pattern: Hybrid working. There is no expectation to be in a London office five days per week; exact office attendance/location to be confirmed.

The Role

We are looking for a Senior Product Manager to join an established Consumer Product team, responsible for wholesale broadband products used by some of the UK's largest internet service providers. This is an opportunity for an experienced Product Manager to take meaningful ownership within a lean organisation where Product is expected to be close to the detail, challenge established thinking and drive things forward. The Consumer area is one of the more established parts of the Product organisation. We therefore need someone who can get up to speed quickly, take ownership and continue developing the proposition rather than requiring a heavily defined environment around them.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Take ownership of products and propositions across the Consumer portfolio.
  • Shape product priorities and roadmaps based on customer, commercial and business needs.
  • Work closely with commercial, technical and operational stakeholders to move products forward.
  • Understand customer and market requirements and translate these into clear product priorities.
  • Challenge existing propositions and ways of working where there is an opportunity to improve them.
  • Use insight and data to support product decisions.
  • Work through competing requirements and make clear prioritisation decisions.
  • Stay close to delivery and the detail rather than operating purely at a strategic level.
  • Communicate product direction clearly across technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Take ownership for progressing work in a lean environment where people are expected to be proactive.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What We're Looking For

We are looking for someone with strong Product Management experience who can demonstrate genuine ownership rather than simply having worked around Product. You should be able to show:

  • Experience owning products, propositions or significant product areas.
  • Strong product strategy and roadmap experience.
  • Commercial awareness and an understanding of how Product contributes to wider business outcomes.
  • Experience working with technically complex products or services.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • An ability to operate effectively when priorities or circumstances change.
  • Evidence of challenging established thinking and improving products or ways of working.
  • A hands-on approach and willingness to get into the detail when required.
  • Strong judgement and the ability to make decisions without everything being perfectly defined.
  • Resilience and adaptability within a changing organisation.
  • Experience within telecoms, broadband, connectivity or wholesale products would be beneficial, but we are equally interested in strong Product Managers from adjacent sectors who can bring a different perspective.

The Type of Person Who Will Succeed

This isn't an environment for someone who wants to sit above Product and simply steer. You will need to be comfortable moving between strategy and detail, taking ownership and doing what is needed to move something forward. We are particularly interested in people who are curious, adaptable and prepared to ask:

  • Why are we doing it this way, and could we do it better?

Why Join?

This is an opportunity to join a Product organisation where you can have genuine influence. The Consumer business has already demonstrated an ability to disrupt an established market, and the wider organisation continues to look at how it can challenge traditional approaches within telecoms. The organisation is deliberately lean, giving Product Managers visibility and ownership rather than multiple layers of hierarchy. For someone who enjoys being close to the product, working with experienced people and having the freedom to challenge established thinking, there is a significant opportunity to make an impact.
