Impact You Will Make in the Role
Strategic Roadmap Ownership & Product Leadership
- Own, define, and continuously evolve the product roadmap for SugarAI capabilities, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities, customer needs, and business outcomes
- Act as a mini product leader, connecting vision, execution, and commercial impact
- Drive transparency and alignment by clearly communicating priorities, trade-offs, risks, and progress across stakeholders
- Ensure all initiatives are grounded in customer value, business impact, and technical feasibility
- Identify and drive long-term strategic bets and growth opportunities across the product portfolio
Product Strategy, Planning & Agile Execution
- Lead planning efforts that balance long-term vision with near-term delivery
- Partner closely with Engineering and UX to scope, design, and prioritize solutions that balance innovation and scalability
- Manage and continuously refine a dynamic product backlog, balancing quick wins, foundational investments, and strategic initiatives
- Own the end-to-end product lifecycle from discovery and validation through delivery and post-launch optimisation
- Drive high-quality agile execution, ensuring work is well-defined, prioritised, and delivered efficiently

Customer & Data-Driven Decision Making
- Gather, analyse, and synthesise customer insights to ensure the product solves real problems
- Define, own, and track key success metrics (KPIs) including adoption, engagement, and revenue impact
- Use qualitative and quantitative data to inform prioritisation, validate hypotheses, and guide iteration
- Maintain direct and continuous engagement with customers and stakeholders to refine product direction
Cross-Functional Leadership & Influence
- Lead without authority, aligning Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success around shared outcomes
- Influence senior stakeholders and leadership teams, contributing to broader business strategy
- Drive cross-functional coordination to ensure successful delivery, go-to-market alignment, and product adoption
- Champion improvements in team processes and ways of working to increase efficiency and effectiveness
Product Leadership & Team Development
- Mentor and support other product managers, elevating product thinking, execution quality, and impact
- Help establish and scale best practices in product management, discovery, and delivery
- Contribute to building a high-performing product culture focused on outcomes, ownership, and continuous improvement
- Act as a role model for strong product leadership behaviours across the organisation

What You Will Bring (Experience)
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in product management with a strong track record of delivering B2B SaaS products
- Experience with CRM platforms, customer engagement tools, or workflow automation solutions is highly desirable
- Proven ability to own product strategy and influence decision-making at senior levels
Product & Leadership Skills
- Strong understanding of roadmap development, prioritisation frameworks and agile methodologies
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with execution excellence
- Demonstrated experience influencing cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Experience mentoring or leading other product managers is a strong plus
Technical & Analytical Skills
- Solid technical acumen, including familiarity with APIs, integrations, and data models
- Strong ability to use data to drive product decisions and measure success
Communication & Stakeholder Management
- Exceptional communication and storytelling skills
- Ability to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong stakeholder management with the ability to build alignment and drive decisions
