Head of Product, Lifecycle

About Us

IG Group is a FTSE 100 fintech operating across five continents, serving over 1.4m customers and handling billions of dollars in transactions – built on scale, trust, and proof. We didn't pivot to innovation; it's how we've always operated. What that means for the people who work here is real: genuinely complex problems to solve, the technology and resources to tackle them properly, and the kind of scope that's rare in established businesses.

The bar is high – bring a curious and forward-thinking mindset and we'll give you the platform to define what comes next.

Join us at IG – the future gets built here.

Your Team

This role sits within the Product function, reporting into the Head of Product - Lifecycle. You will use AI tools and work closely with engineering, design, operations, compliance, legal, and marketing to define and deliver the digital servicing proposition. The team operates at the intersection of product craft and commercial ambition — focused on building tooling and self-service experiences that make it easier for clients to help themselves, and easier for agents to help everyone else.

Your Role in the Team’s Success

This is a role for a Senior PM who is as comfortable defining strategy as they are shipping against it. As Senior Product Manager for Digital Servicing, you will own the product vision and multi-quarter roadmap for IG's operational tooling suite.

You will determine which problems are worth solving, set direction, and drive execution end to end, with two outcomes anchoring your mandate: raising customer satisfaction and lowering our cost to serve. You'll get there by consolidating an overlapping product suite, embedding AI across the service journey from client-facing chatbot to agent-facing systems, and giving clients better ways to help themselves so fewer issues need to reach the CX team at all. You will not be handed a brief. You will write it.

What You'll Do

Product Strategy and Roadmap

  • Own the product vision and multi-quarter roadmap for your vertical, aligned to IG's commercial objectives — not just contributing to it, but setting it.
  • Determine which problems are worth solving and why, before any solution work begins.
  • Make strategic build vs buy vs partner decisions grounded in customer needs, commercial viability, and technical feasibility.
  • Drive competitive intelligence and translate market insights into differentiated propositions.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Discovery and Delivery

  • Run discovery that goes beyond what customers say — understand the motivations, friction points, and habits that drive or block investing behaviour.
  • Use AI tools actively across your workflow: synthesising research, generating prototypes, accelerating delivery, and surfacing insights faster.
  • Partner with engineering and design to scope, prioritise, and ship with quality and pace.
  • Define success metrics and iterate relentlessly based on evidence.

Cross-functional Leadership

  • Influence stakeholders across product, engineering, legal, compliance, marketing, and senior leadership — you drive alignment up, down, and across the organisation.
  • Navigate regulatory requirements and translate compliance constraints into seamless customer experiences.
  • Work comfortably with APIs, backend infrastructure, and platform integrations.
  • Mentor and raise the bar for PMs around you.

What You'll Need

Essential

  • Significant experience of shipping products in fintech, financial services, or another regulated industry, ideally in servicing, operations, or CX-adjacent tooling.
  • Proven ability to own and drive product strategy across a broad, multi-system product surface — not just roadmap input, but vision setting and direction.
  • Deep curiosity about client and agent behaviour — you understand what drives someone to contact support, what resolves it quickly, and what would have prevented it in the first place.
  • AI-native working style: you already use AI tools (LLMs, prototyping tools, research synthesis, workflow automation) to move faster and think better.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity — you can define the problem when the brief doesn't exist yet.
  • Obsession with customer experience — you sweat the details that make journeys feel effortless.
  • Regulatory intuition — you can navigate compliance without it becoming a blocker to great UX.
  • Evidence and data-driven — you define metrics, run experiments, and make calls based on what works.
  • Strong stakeholder management — you influence without authority and drive alignment across complex organisations.
