Senior Product Manager – FinCrime (AML/PEP/Sanctions) at Zepz
About the Role
We're revolutionizing money transfer with digital solutions designed for migrants across Africa, Asia, and Latin America. As part of the FinCrime product team, you'll play a critical role in transforming compliance-driven workflows into seamless, empowering experiences.
You'll lead the forward-thinking FinCrime product strategy—balancing regulatory compliance, customer needs, and cutting-edge innovation—to grow Zepz’s powerful remittance brands. We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager who thrives in complexity, leverages data to drive strategy, and delivers impact at scale.
Who You Are
A results-driven leader with deep experience in financial crime compliance, AML, sanctions, and PEP (Politically Exposed Persons) systems:
- Industry expert – 5+ years in Fintech, financial crime, or compliance, preferably with experience in digital remittance or crypto.
- Data-driven decision-maker – Experience in customer risk rating, transaction monitoring, AI/ML-driven compliance tools, or on-chain analysis.
- Full-cycle product ownership – Proven ability to scope, prioritize, and execute multi-disciplinary initiatives from concept to launch, across global APIs, integrations, and stakeholder workflows.
- Cross-functional communicator – Masters the art of translating technical requirements for developers, business logic for executives, and user needs for end customers—all within demanding timelines.
- Regulatory mindset – In-depth knowledge of AML regulations, sanctions screening best practices, and risk assessment frameworks (FIU and CRF type systems).
- Product catalysis – Comfort driving vendor partnerships (compliance tech providers, blockchain analytics, AI/ML tools) and managing regulatory hurdles with bulletproof efficiency.
- Ownership-driven – Thrives in environments where clarity and collaboration breed innovation, yet delivers high-impact results alone, remotely, and globally.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
