Product Lead / Head of Product Senior Product Manager - In-Person Payments & Retail Expansion
We're partnering with a global fintech that is transforming payment experiences through innovative, cloud-native technology. Their platform powers secure, scalable payment solutions across multiple international markets, helping organisations modernise payment ecosystems and deliver seamless customer experiences across both digital and physical channels.
Due to continued growth, they're looking for a Senior Product Manager / Product Lead / Head of Product to lead the evolution and expansion of their Retail & In-Person Payments proposition.
This is a fantastic opportunity to own a strategically important product vertical, defining vision, roadmap and execution as the business expands into new payment channels and use cases including:
- Card Present / In-Person Payments
- SoftPOS
- EV Charging
- Parking Solutions
- Kiosks & Vending
- Hardware & Device Integrations
Working closely with Commercial, Engineering and external technology partners, you'll help shape a scalable payments ecosystem that supports new markets, new channels and new customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop a strong understanding of the payments ecosystem within our clients specific niche, including market trends, operators, partners, merchants, and payment schemes
- Define the product vision and roadmap for the vertical, evolving it from a standalone capability into a scalable platform proposition
- Lead expansion into new acceptance channels and emerging adjacent sectors
- Own API strategy and enablement, ensuring seamless integration with partner technologies and external devices
- Develop the vision and roadmap for a key new vertical, shifting from a "feature" mindset to a "scalable ecosystem" mindset
- Work with commercial and engineering teams to deliver new initiatives from concept through launch
- Translate customer needs into prioritised functional requirements for delivery teams
- Identify product-market opportunities and drive adoption in new commercial segments
- Support strategic partnerships that accelerate product reach and ecosystem growth
What We're Looking For
- Ideally you'll have 5 or more years in Product Management with experience scaling products into new markets or customer segments within the FinTech or Payments Domain
- Strong payments background, particularly within Card Present / In-Person Payments
- Experience owning and scaling payment APIs and third-party integrations
- Ability to engage in technical discussions around API design, integrations and hardware/software interactions
- Proven track record identifying product-market fit and expanding into new verticals
- Experience operating within Agile delivery environments
- Understanding of PCI-DSS and payment processing ecosystems
- Background in payments, acquiring, merchant services, payment gateways, fintech, mobility or adjacent sectors highly desirable
