Referment is working with a growing technology company to hire a Senior Product Manager to take ownership of a new product as the business enters its next stage of growth.
This is a hands-on role with significant ownership across the full product lifecycle, from early discovery and user research through to development, launch and iteration.
You'll work closely with the leadership team, Engineering and Design to understand complex user problems and turn them into products that are simple, effective and scalable.
This is an opportunity to take genuine ownership of a 0-to-1 product, rather than simply managing an established roadmap.
The Role
You'll Be Responsible For
- Owning a new product from discovery through to launch and ongoing development.
- Leading user research and discovery to understand customer needs and identify opportunities.
- Translating research and feedback into clear product requirements.
- Developing and prioritising the product roadmap.
- Working closely with Engineering and Design throughout the development process.
- Using product data and customer insights to make informed prioritisation decisions.
- Understanding technical constraints and making appropriate product and architecture trade-offs.
- Defining success metrics and measuring product performance.
- Bringing together feedback from users, technical teams and other stakeholders.
- Creating structure and direction within an early-stage and evolving product environment.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
