Referment
Referment is working with a long-established UK car insurance comparison platform that helps customers make better decisions around insurance and financial services, part of a larger group of well-known UK comparison brands. This Senior Product Manager will drive capabilities that improve the customer experience across the platform, shaping and evangelising the product vision for a significant product area aligned with a market vertical such as car, home, van, travel or life.
The Role
You will define, own and drive the strategy for the comparison journey, with a multi-channel approach for the end-to-end journey joined up with CRM, account, web and mobile applications. You will champion a one-platform approach that looks beyond the website to realise seamless journeys across the estate. You will lead discovery and support delivery, using data and customer insights to identify and realise the most valuable opportunities, establish scalable experimentation pipelines across user touchpoints, and identify opportunities to capitalise on emerging technologies such as Generative AI to deliver personalised experiences. You will galvanise cross-functional teams across engineering, design and marketing, manage external developers and service providers, and proactively influence senior stakeholders to unblock issues and keep progress moving.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

This could suit a product manager with a track record of owning a significant product area end to end, who thrives on discovery, data and cross-functional influence rather than waiting for a defined roadmap.
