Owns the end-to-end technical strategy, roadmap, and product management for OneAdvanced, IQ-Intelligent-Platform. Acts as the connective tissue between platform capabilities (Data & AI, Core Services, Security, Integrations, etc.) and the vertical/product teams that consume them. This is a deeply technical product role — not pure feature ownership and not pure technical marketing or Product Management. The PM must translate complex platform primitives into clear product outcomes, drive prioritisation across engineering and data teams, define how platform capabilities surface to customers and internal builders, and ensure the IQ Intelligent Platform becomes the foundation that accelerates every vertical and application. Works in close partnership with Platform Engineering, Data, Security, Architecture, Principal PMs, IX, and the Technical Marketing Teams who turn the platform into compelling narratives, demos, and sales assets.

This role is advertised as a Birmingham hybrid position. However, we are committed to supporting internal mobility and will consider applications from colleagues with existing alternative working arrangements on a case-by-case basis.

What You Will Do

  • Own the overall platform product technical vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap (including the phased evolution of core services, Data & AI foundations, integrations, security, and developer experience).
  • Define and prioritise the platform capability backlog in partnership with engineering and architecture — balancing foundational investment, customer-driven needs, and vertical acceleration.
  • Translate complex platform architecture into clear product surfaces, APIs, SDKs, and self-service experiences that both customers and internal product teams can consume.
  • Own platform success metrics: adoption, engagement, time-to-value for builders, platform reliability/SLA impact, and contribution to vertical revenue / AI data consumption.
  • Lead high-stakes product decisions that cut across multiple teams (e.g. data model changes, identity, compliance controls, AI runtime, integration patterns).
  • Work with Legal, Security, Compliance, and Data teams on platform-level governance, privacy, and regulatory readiness (especially for regulated industries).
  • Partner tightly with Marketing and Commercials so that technical capabilities are turned into battlecards, demos, case studies, and field narratives without the PM becoming the primary storyteller.
  • Coach other Product Managers (vertical and feature) on how to leverage platform capabilities effectively and avoid rebuilding platform concerns inside verticals.
  • Define the “platform product contract” — what is guaranteed, what is self-service, what requires engagement, and how verticals request or extend platform capabilities.
  • Represent the platform in cross-company forums (architecture reviews, investment prioritisation, customer advisory boards) and ensure platform decisions are informed by real customer and field insight.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What You Will Have

  • Deep technical fluency across Data & AI, APIs, identity, security, and modern cloud platforms — able to hold technical conversations with architects and engineers while still owning the product “why” and “what”.
  • Comfortable operating at the intersection of pure product management and technical enablement (similar energy to the Platform TME role, but with full roadmap ownership and prioritisation authority).
  • Turns complex platform capabilities into simple, compelling product stories that builders and customers understand.
  • Strong systems thinker who can see second- and third-order effects of platform decisions across the entire product portfolio.
  • Bias to action and high ownership — does not wait for perfect consensus before driving progress.
  • Excellent collaborator with engineering, data, security, marketing and commercial teams; earns trust by being technically credible and commercially aware.

Please note, This vacancy will remain open until 25 August 2026. Interviews will be scheduled shortly after the closing date, so we encourage interested colleagues to submit their application as early as possible. All applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK at the time of application.
