A day in the life.

The Senior Product Manager, IT drives the strategy, roadmap and delivery of core IT products and platforms that enable business processes, operational excellence, and security across the organization. This role partners closely with stakeholders across IT and the business to define value-driven product initiatives, prioritize work, and ensure successful implementation and adoption. The Senior Product Manager combines technical fluency, customer-focused product thinking, and strong delivery leadership to maximize product outcomes and measurable business impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and own product vision, strategy and multi-year roadmap for assigned IT platforms (e.g., identity & access management, digital workplace, enterprise integrations, data platforms, security tooling, cloud platform services).
  • Translate business needs and technical constraints into clear product requirements, user stories and prioritized backlogs.
  • Lead product planning and prioritization using data, stakeholder inputs and business value to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
  • Partner with engineering, architecture, security, operations, vendor partners and business SMEs to deliver high-quality releases on time and on budget.
  • Act as product owner in Agile delivery teams: clarify scope, accept deliverables, manage sprint priorities and remove blockers.
  • Drive product adoption and change management through stakeholder engagement, communications, training plans and measurement.
  • Define and monitor product success metrics (KPIs), use analytics to inform decisions, and report product performance to leadership.
  • Manage vendor relationships and third-party product lifecycle where applicable, including requirements, RFPs, contract alignment and performance reviews.
  • Ensure product designs meet security, compliance, privacy and accessibility standards and contribute to risk mitigation activities.
  • Mentor and coach junior product managers and contribute to product management best practices and governance across IT.

Our future colleague.

We’d love to meet you if your professional track record includes these skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of product management experience in IT or technology environments, with demonstrated ownership of enterprise IT products or platforms.
  • Proven track record delivering complex, multi-stakeholder IT initiatives from discovery through production.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, Agile methodologies and modern cloud-native architectures.
  • Experience working with technical teams (engineering, architecture, security) and translating technical concepts for business stakeholders.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and interpersonal skills.
  • Data-driven decision-making skills; experience defining and tracking KPIs and using analytics to inform prioritization.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree (MBA, MS) or relevant certifications (CSPO, PMP, Pragmatic Institute, SAFe/Product Owner).
  • Experience with identity/access management, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), integration platforms, ITSM, or enterprise data platforms.
  • Familiarity with security and compliance frameworks (SOC2, ISO27001, GDPR).
  • Prior experience in a regulated industry or large global organization.

  • Strategic thinking with strong business acumen and customer-centric mindset.
  • Technical literacy and ability to engage in architectural and engineering discussions.
  • Strong prioritization, organization and time-management capabilities.
  • Negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Ability to influence without direct authority and build consensus across diverse stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving orientation and comfort with ambiguity.
  • Empathy for end users and focus on delivering measurable value.

The applicable base salary range for this role is $94,500 to $165,300. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
