Senior Product Manager (European Payments) – Hybrid
A hybrid role with three days a week in London or Edinburgh offices and travel to Bath once a quarter.

The Role: Senior Product Manager (European Payments)
We’re looking for a Senior Product Manager for the European payment squad to contribute to our nascent European market operations. This is a high-impact, high-ownership opportunity for someone with sharp product thinking, strong execution skills, and a keen eye for simplifying complexity.

Key Responsibilities
A typical day includes:
- Defining roadmaps: Working with the Group Product Manager and Operations Lead to align the European trading roadmap with both immediate client needs and long-term strategy.
- Operation collaboration: Partnering with engineers, operations, and other stakeholders to resolve scalability challenges for European trading operations.
- Breakdown & prioritisation: Translating complex problems into clear, actionable plans for engineering teams through structured sprint backlogs.
- Client focus: Partnering with European clients to gain insights, validate solutions, and ensure our proposition delivers real customer value.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Working with UK-based product teams to adapt and expand existing capabilities for European markets.
- Decision-making: Constantly evaluating trade-offs in speed, risk, and customer value within regulated financial sectors.
- Ownership: Building mentorship for junior product managers to develop skills that align with our business goals.

Requirements & Ideal Candidate
You’ll thrive if you:
- Have significant experience with:
- Payment systems
- Custody platforms
- APIs
- Launched regulated products to European markets
- Experience in scaling products within regulated environments (e.g., fintech, banking, investments, insurance).
- Ability to operate in 0-to-1 or highly ambiguous markets, providing clarity and driving action.
- A strong problem-solving bias—simplifying complexity and shaping decisions effectively.
- Is customer-obsessed—always finding ways to improve workflows and user experience.
- Thrives in cross-functional environments, navigating trade-offs with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Leads by example through mentorship, sharing knowledge, and modeling consistency.
- Communicates and collaborates effectively across various levels of expertise.

Interview Process

Typical interview stages:
- Talent Screening: 30-minute intro with Talent partner
- First Round: Competency-based interview with hiring manager (45 mins)
- Case Study Interview: Presentation and discussion based on a product challenge (60 mins)
- Bar Raiser: Cultural alignment interview in a conversations setting (45 mins)
