Profile Summary
The Senior Product Manager owns MACH product strategy, portfolio direction and commercial product outcomes. Reporting to the Head of R&D, this role leads the Product Management and Product Marketing functions to ensure MACH builds market-relevant, differentiated and commercially successful solutions.
The role operates at the intersection of customer need, commercial opportunity and technical execution, translating market insight into clear priorities for the roadmap, go-to-market activity and product lifecycle decisions.
A Day in the Life
You will:
- Define and drive product strategy across the MACH portfolio.
- Lead Product Managers and Product Marketing resources to deliver against strategy and roadmap commitments.
- Work closely with R&D to ensure roadmap priorities are clear, commercially justified and technically deliverable.
- Engage customers, partners, Sales and Marketing to shape value propositions and go-to-market plans.
- Translate market trends including AI, automation and roaming evolution into scalable product innovation.
- Create clarity, pace and accountability across product discovery, prioritisation, launch and lifecycle management.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end product strategy, portfolio roadmap and execution priorities across MACH products.
- Lead Product Management and Product Marketing.
- Build a clear product vision and multi-year roadmap aligned to MACH growth objectives, customer needs and R&D capacity.
- Establish strong product governance, prioritisation and lifecycle processes from discovery through launch and retirement.
- Develop robust product business cases, including commercial opportunity, investment requirements, expected return and success metrics.
- Partner with R&D leadership to translate strategy into clear requirements, release priorities and delivery trade-offs.
- Work closely with Sales and Marketing to deliver clear value propositions, competitive positioning and successful go-to-market execution.
- Own product marketing outputs including positioning, messaging, launch readiness, sales enablement and market-facing narratives.
- Engage strategic customers to validate roadmap direction and ensure solutions address operational and commercial pain points.
- Drive product P&L inputs, including pricing, packaging, adoption, margin and investment recommendations.
- Monitor competitive activity, market evolution and industry trends to inform product strategy and portfolio decisions.
- Champion AI, automation and next-generation platform evolution where these improve customer outcomes and commercial performance.

- Revenue growth and profitability of the product portfolio.
- Product adoption, usage and customer satisfaction.
- Roadmap clarity, prioritisation quality and delivery predictability.
- Successful launches with effective product positioning and GTM execution.
- Cross-functional alignment between Product, R&D, Sales and Marketing.
- Innovation velocity and measurable contribution from new product initiatives.
- Development, engagement and effectiveness of the Product and Product Marketing teams.
Experience & Background
- 8+ years in product management, product leadership or related roles within roaming, clearing.
- Proven experience leading Product Management teams and influencing engineering or R&D organisations.
- Strong track record of owning product strategy, portfolio roadmaps and commercial outcomes.
- Experience building business cases, investment recommendations and data-driven prioritisation models.
- Experience launching complex software products and working with Sales and Marketing on go-to-market execution.
- Demonstrated ability to engage senior customers and translate market insight into scalable product direction.
- Experience with Agile software development environments and globally distributed teams.
- Roaming industry knowledge, including GSMA, TADIG, BCE, clearing or settlement workflows, is highly desirable.
- Experience with AI or automation-led product development is desirable.
