Senior Product Manager
£550/day Outside IR35 | Remote | 3 months initially | ASAP start
I’m working with a growing UK organisation looking for an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead the discovery and product direction for a new workforce management platform supporting a large, distributed contractor workforce.
This is a high-autonomy role for someone who is comfortable taking a complex, poorly defined operational problem, working out the right product and technology approach, and turning that into a clear roadmap the business can execute.
The Challenge
The organisation currently manages a workforce of around 800 contractors, with plans to scale significantly. A number of workforce processes remain heavily reliant on manual administration, email and disconnected systems. The goal is to determine the right future solution for managing this workforce more effectively and at scale.
You’ll lead discovery across areas including:
- Compliance & credential management – onboarding, checks, qualifications, documentation, renewals and ongoing monitoring
- Self-service & availability – enabling contractors to manage availability, capacity, payments, invoices, personal information and required actions
- Workforce capacity – making available resource easier for the business to understand and utilise
- Systems & integrations – understanding how the platform should connect with CRM, ATS, HR, finance, scheduling and other existing systems
- Build vs buy – assessing vendors and platforms alongside bespoke development and integration options
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

If so, I’d be very interested in speaking with you.
