Room Selection Experience

Room selection is one of the highest stakes and most consequential moments when it comes to booking travel – the point where browsing turns into commitment. Expedia Group is building the next generation of Room Shopping experiences that help travelers confidently choose the right room for their trip, while enabling partners to showcase their properties effectively across Expedia's Travel Marketplace. As traveler expectations rise and room and rate inventory grows more complex, this experience is evolving into a more personalized, adaptive part of the shopping journey.

Senior Product Manager - Room Shopping Experience

We're looking for a Senior Product Manager to lead the strategy and evolution of the Room Shopping Experience. You will own the end-to-end product lifecycle for room shopping capabilities – from discovery and traveler journey mapping, through experimentation, launch, adoption, and measurement. Working closely with design, engineering, MLS, analytics, brands, supply and other partner teams, you will translate traveler insights into clear product requirements. You will operate at a Senior PM level: setting a multi-year, multi-brand strategy for our room shopping experience, leading multi-team programs, and mentoring other product managers across the ecosystem.

At the heart of this role is a simple customer promise: help travelers quickly find the room that best fits their needs – not just everything that's available. You'll build experiences that recommend the best match, make options easy to compare, and give travelers the confidence to book, whether they're booking one room or several.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
