About SkyBound

SkyBound delivers automated drone operations for critical national infrastructure, providing real-time aerial intelligence to support safety, security and faster decision-making.

We combine software, AI and remote operations, with systems managed from our Southampton-based 24/7 control centre and deployed across the UK in some of the most complex airspaces to enable rapid response and continuous site awareness.

As we continue to scale, we are looking for a driven Senior Product Manager to join the team and help shape the future of autonomous operations.

Working Pattern: Remote first with one day per month in-office, based in Southampton.

Role Summary

As Senior Product Manager, you will play a key role in shaping the future of SkyBound’s technology. You’ll ensure the right capabilities reach the market at the right time by combining technical understanding, user insight, and strategic product thinking.

Working closely with Tech, Design, Service Delivery, and Solutions teams, you will refine product requirements, align capabilities, and build a roadmap - alongside the Founder - that supports SkyBound’s mission to transform automated drone operations and AI drone intelligence.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a high-growth environment, enjoys solving complex real-world problems, and wants to influence products with genuine impact.

Responsibilities

  • Manage product requirements, ensuring they are clear, validated, and grounded in real operational needs.
  • Conduct an audit of the current product landscape, gaining a deep understanding of existing processes, documentation, delivery workflows, and product practices before introducing improvements.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of SkyBound's software platform, connected hardware, and end-to-end product ecosystem, enabling you to confidently engage with both technical teams and customers.
  • Build strong relationships across the business, becoming a trusted partner to the Founder, Tech, Design, Service Delivery and Solutions teams while creating alignment around product priorities.
  • Identify, prioritise, and align product capabilities in collaboration with developers, designers, and subject-matter experts.
  • Develop and maintain a balanced product roadmap that reflects user needs, market insight, technical feasibility, and business priorities.
  • Build the Product function from the ground up, shaping future processes, standards, hiring plans and the long-term culture of the team.
  • Introduce scalable product management practices, including clear documentation, product workflows, task management and repeatable processes that enable the business to scale effectively.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment by creating clarity around product vision, priorities, and success metrics.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear narratives, specifications, user stories and product requirements for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Act as the key link across teams, facilitating workshops, technical discussions, and cross-functional planning sessions.
  • Develop a strong understanding of customer challenges, operational workflows and market needs, ensuring product decisions solve meaningful real-world problems.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline or automate manual processes that improve operational efficiency across the product lifecycle.
  • Support customer engagement with credible product and technical input.
  • Analyse product performance and identify opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Ensure product decisions align with SkyBound's mission, strategy, regulatory environment and long-term vision.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
