Responsibilities

Own the roadmap, prioritization and delivery of Talos’s connectivity capabilities, balancing new integrations, client requirements and improvements to existing connections. Expand connectivity into new and emerging markets, including prediction markets and tokenized assets, adapting Talos’s trading capabilities to different market structures and protocols. Drive multiple integration projects end to end, from technical assessment through development, certification and production rollout, coordinating teams, dependencies, timelines and risks to ensure successful delivery. Work closely with Engineering to define and enhance connectivity capabilities across order entry, market data, FIX/REST/WebSocket APIs, security master, rate limits, resiliency and performance. Ensure connectivity supports Talos trading workflows, including liquidity aggregation, smart order routing, algorithms and other EMS capabilities. Build strong technical relationships with exchanges, liquidity providers and other external partners to deliver new capabilities and resolve production issues.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in electronic trading, capital markets technology or institutional digital assets, ideally in product management, trading technology or connectivity. Understanding of EMS/OEMS workflows, order lifecycle, market data and multi-venue trading. Demonstrated ability to organize and drive multiple complex technical projects concurrently, with strong attention to detail, follow-through and ownership. Experience with exchange, broker, dealer or liquidity-provider connectivity. Working knowledge of FIX and API-based trading protocols, including REST and WebSocket. Technical aptitude and comfort working with API documentation, logs, JSON messages and production data. Good understanding of trading concepts such as order type, liquidity aggregation, smart order routing, rate limits and execution algorithms. Comfortable using SQL for investigation and analysis; scripting experience such as Python is a plus. Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with Engineering, clients and external technical partners.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
