Own the go-to-market product strategy for a newly unified proposition built through acquisition and innovation.
Role Overview:
This is a rare opportunity to shape a newly consolidated platform at a pivotal moment in its evolution.
Following a series of strategic acquisitions, Defaqto is bringing together multiple adviser technology products into one unified proposition: Defaqto Unity. This is a highly strategic role where you’ll influence senior stakeholders, align cross-functional teams, and help shape both the Unity proposition and the broader Defaqto brand.
What you'll do
As Senior Product Marketing Manager, you’ll own the end-to-end go-to-market strategy — defining how we position the platform, who we target, and how we launch and scale it. You’ll play a central role in transforming complexity into clarity, creating a cohesive narrative from multiple products, brands, and stakeholder perspectives.
Proposition strategy and positioning
- Define the positioning, value proposition, and messaging framework for Defaqto Unity
- Translate a complex, multi-product proposition into a simple, compelling market story
- Establish Ideal Customer Profiles (ICP), segmentation, personas, and key use cases
- Analyse the competitive landscape to ensure clear differentiation in the adviser technology market

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
