I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Product marketing’s role at Causaly is to engage and excite our customer personas: R&D leaders, discovery and translational scientists, and competitive intelligence teams, with product launches, sales plays, content, thought leadership, and sales enablement to educate and empower organizations to accelerate R&D productivity and revenue growth.

This is an exciting opportunity for you to:

  • Own and continuously build out our core sales enablement library — pitchbooks, discovery decks, one-pagers, and competitive battlecards — that make it easy for sales to tell a compelling Causaly story.
  • Partner with sales, sales engineering, and product to create and maintain product demos, demo scripts, and demo environments that bring our platform to life for prospects and customers.
  • Co-own the development of (or support the development of) external content engine — whitepapers, ebooks, solution briefs, and other thought leadership assets — that support the funnel from awareness through to closed deal.
  • Partner with the product organization to translate new capabilities into launch-ready messaging, demos, and enablement as we ship and marketing to update existing external messaging.
  • Engage deeply with our sales organization to gather target persona insights, competitive intelligence, and win/loss learnings that sharpen our positioning and content.
  • Act as a company storyteller, helping the market understand our unique point of view, positioning, and differentiation across every touchpoint.
  • Continuously measure and refine the impact of our enablement and content assets based on sales and customer feedback.

Requirements:

  • 4-6 years of product marketing experience with an emphasis on enterprise level business-to-business selling motions.
  • Hands-on experience building sales enablement assets such as pitchbooks, decks, battlecards, and objection-handling guides.
  • Experience creating or briefing product demos, demo videos, or interactive demo content, ideally in partnership with sales engineering or product teams.
  • Strong long-form writing skills, with a track record of producing whitepapers, ebooks, or similar thought leadership content.
  • Proven ability to translate complex or technical product capability into clear, value-driven customer-facing messaging.
  • A “yes, and” creative mind who can build on ideas and find new ways to grab and hold attention in the market.
  • A deeply empathetic cross-functional collaborator who can think through trade-offs and get a group to the right decision with conflicting information.
  • Succinct, clear, and persuasive written communication skills.
  • Engaging and personable presentation skills effective in small, private groups as well as large, public audiences.
  • Track record of, and excited about the prospect of, operating both strategically and as a "hands on" builder.
  • Life Sciences and/or AI/B2B SaaS domain experience are not required but would be a definite plus.
