What this role is all about:
At Vitality, we're transforming the health insurance market through innovation, insight and customer-centric thinking. As Product Marketing Senior Manager for Health, you’ll shape how Vitality’s Health products and propositions are positioned, taken to market and communicated to customers, advisers and employers. Using customer, market and competitor insight, you’ll develop data-driven marketing strategies and go-to-market plans that support growth, engagement and retention. You’ll work across Product, Distribution and Marketing to create compelling positioning and messaging, bring cross-functional teams together and lead effective campaigns through our Marketing Centres of Excellence.
Key Actions
- Develop and deliver data-driven marketing strategies that support growth, engagement and retention across VitalityHealth products and propositions
- Create and execute comprehensive go-to-market plans aligned to business objectives, audience needs and commercial priorities
- Lead the development of product positioning, messaging frameworks and value propositions that clearly differentiate Vitality's offering in the market
- Translate complex product features and strategic narratives into compelling customer-focused marketing messaging and communications
- Work closely with Product, Technical Marketing, Distribution and wider business teams to ensure alignment of marketing strategies and objectives
- Brief and guide Marketing Centres of Excellence and agency partners to deliver effective multi-channel campaigns and initiatives
- Use customer insight, segmentation and market intelligence to identify opportunities and enhance campaign effectiveness
- Act as the health market expert within Marketing, maintaining an up-to-date understanding of customer needs, competitors and industry developments
- Track, analyse and report on marketing performance, providing recommendations to optimise results and drive continuous improvement
- Represent the Health business with senior stakeholders and wider audiences, influencing decision-making and championing customer-led product benefits

What do you need to thrive?
- Proven experience delivering successful go-to-market strategies that drive measurable commercial results.
- Strong Product Marketing expertise across B2B and B2C, with a track record of launching propositions and delivering growth.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and build alignment across complex, matrix organisations.
- Strong understanding of customer segmentation, proposition development, and marketing strategy, using insight to drive customer and business outcomes.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to challenge and influence at all levels.
- Experience operating within regulated environments, balancing commercial objectives with compliance requirements.
- Interest in emerging marketing technologies, including the practical application of AI within marketing.
