Senior Product Marketing Manager – B2B Technical

Elstree, Hertfordshire
£80,000–£90,000

Can you take a technically complex product and make the market understand exactly why it should buy it?

That’s the challenge here.

I’m recruiting a Senior Product Marketing Manager for an established international manufacturer operating across highly technical B2B markets.

This is not a broad “Head of Marketing” role and it isn’t about simply running campaigns.

The majority of your time will be spent much closer to Product, Sales and the customer:

  • Defining product positioning, messaging and value propositions
  • Translating technical features into compelling commercial benefits
  • Creating battlecards, pitch decks, product guides and sales enablement tools
  • Building a structured view of competitors, pricing, strengths and weaknesses
  • Helping sales teams and international channel partners win more business
  • Developing propositions for new sectors and international markets
  • Leading the go-to-market activity around new product launches
  • Turning customer, dealer and lost-deal insight into commercial action

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

You’ll also have ownership across areas such as trade PR, LinkedIn, industry content and exhibitions - but product marketing and commercial growth are at the heart of this role.

I’m particularly interested in speaking with people from technical B2B, engineering, manufacturing, electronics, telecoms, industrial technology or similarly complex product environments.
