About Clara
We’re building Clara, an AI platform designed specifically for home-service small businesses (1–5 employees, starting with HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical). More than 2,000 businesses use Clara today, handling over 10,000 daily calls. Today, Clara manages customer conversations; our broader ambition is to build an AI workforce that takes administrative and growth tasks off the shoulders of millions of small business owners.
We are Hiring: Senior Product Marketing Manager
We are hiring our first Senior Product Marketing Manager, a strategic, hands-on individual contributor reporting directly to the Co-Founder & CMO. At Clara, Product Marketing is a product-market-fit discipline. You will sit at the center of our continuous learning loop:
Understand market → Form hypothesis → Build → Go to market → Observe → Learn → Repeat.
What You’ll Do
- Build Market Understanding: Lead market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews to understand who needs Clara most, what creates trust/hesitation around AI, and what drives activation, retention, and willingness to pay.
- Own Segmentation, Positioning & Messaging: Define Clara’s category narrative, value propositions, messaging hierarchy, and differentiation to help the right customers instantly recognize that Clara is built for them.
- Influence What We Build: Partner with Product, Design, User Research, and Data to bring customer evidence into roadmap discussions and connect customer problem → product hypothesis → proposition → measurable outcome.
- Turn Hypotheses into Experiments: Collaborate with Growth and Creative to test new segments, messaging, onboarding flows, pricing models, and channels. Own the insight, proposition brief, and success criteria.
- Shape How Products Go to Market: Lead product-led growth (PLG) launch strategies across organic, paid, social, and partnership channels, tracking post-launch learning to continuously improve performance.
- Help Shape the Commercial Model: Research willingness to pay and execute pricing, packaging, and tiering experiments grounded in real customer behavior rather than SaaS conventions.
- Work AI-Native: Supervise and collaborate with autonomous AI agents across research, analytics, SEO, and experimentation—freeing you to focus on strategy, judgment, and deep customer understanding.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
