Job Description

About the role

We're looking for a Senior Product Marketing Manager to help shape how we position, launch and grow our Protection Platform.

This role sits at the intersection of Product, Sales and Marketing, turning customer, market and commercial insight into clear positioning, compelling go-to-market plans and enablement that drives adoption and growth.

You'll act as the voice of the market within the business, helping ensure we build the right products, tell the right story and create clear differentiation in the market.

Working closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Sales and Marketing teams, you'll bring new capabilities to market, strengthen our competitive position and help drive commercial success.

What You'll Own

Positioning and Messaging:

  • Lead positioning and messaging for Protection Platform, ensuring our value, differentiation and proof points are clearly understood by customers and internal teams.
  • Develop compelling narratives that connect customer needs, market opportunities and product value.
  • Ensure consistent messaging across customer-facing and internal materials.

Go-to-Market Strategy And Launches

  • Lead go-to-market planning for key launches, product enhancements and strategic initiatives.
  • Define target audiences, value propositions, enablement requirements, launch plans and success measures.
  • Partner with Product, Sales and Marketing teams to ensure launches are coordinated, effective and commercially focused.
  • Drive launch readiness and help maximise adoption and commercial impact.

Customer, Market And Competitive Insight

  • Develop a deep understanding of target buyers, buying triggers, market dynamics and customer needs.
  • Act as the voice of the market, bringing customer, market and competitive insight into product and commercial decision-making.
  • Translate customer feedback, win/loss insights, adoption trends and market signals into actionable recommendations.
  • Identify opportunities for differentiation and inform future product and go-to-market strategy.

Sales Enablement

  • Create and maintain the messaging, assets and proof points that help Sales teams communicate value effectively.
  • Support launch readiness through enablement, training and communication activities.
  • Equip customer-facing teams with the context, positioning and supporting materials needed to engage prospects confidently.

Measurement and Optimisation

  • Define success measures for launches, positioning and enablement initiatives.
  • Use evidence and performance data to improve go-to-market effectiveness over time.
  • Share insights and recommendations that improve adoption, launch performance and commercial outcomes.
  • Continuously refine positioning and messaging based on customer and market feedback.

What You'll Bring

  • 5+ years' experience in Product Marketing, Product Management, Proposition, Commercial Marketing or a related go-to-market role.
  • Experience bringing products, features or propositions to market in a B2B or B2B2C environment.
  • Strong positioning, messaging and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear customer value.
  • Experience developing positioning and go-to-market strategies for complex products, platforms or propositions.
  • Experience partnering with Product, Sales and Marketing teams to deliver successful go-to-market initiatives.
  • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to connect activity to customer and business outcomes.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence without direct authority.
  • Comfortable operating with autonomy, ambiguity and accountability.

Nice to have

  • Experience within insurance, insurtech, fintech, financial services or another regulated industry.
  • Familiarity with adviser, insurer or distribution ecosystem

  • Protection Platform - a B2B2C marketplace used by over 15,000 advisors to power quoting and purchase of protection products in the UK. We currently deliver 16% of the UK market’s protection policies and we are already working to increase our reach.
