Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Key Responsibilities

Framework ownership & alignment

  • Own the operational health of platform frameworks. Manage communication with internal teams who report issues or want to integrate new features. Coordinate between stakeholder groups to ensure everyone's priorities are understood and addressed.

Project & initiative ownership

  • Own projects end-to-end. Drive execution across product, engineering, and operations teams. Follow up on commitments, chase dependencies, and keep initiatives moving forward. This requires strong project management skills and the ability to push without being pushy.

Cross-org communication & planning

  • Plan quarterly cycles and roadmaps across multiple teams. Synthesize requests from different stakeholders and create clear, actionable direction. Balance competing priorities and ensure everyone understands the plan and their role in it.

System thinking & automation

  • Build systems to scale your impact. Create documentation, automations, and processes that reduce manual work and let you handle high volumes of questions efficiently. Think about how to answer recurring questions at scale rather than one-off.

Driving action & accountability

  • Get commitments from other teams. Own follow-ups and make sure due dates stick. Be the person who ensures work gets done across organizational lines.

What We're Looking For

Communication & alignment skills

  • You're an exceptional communicator who can synthesize complex information and distill it into clear, concise direction. You can influence without authority and build alignment across teams.

Ownership mentality

  • You own what you touch. When you commit to something, it happens. You're proactive, you follow up, and you don't let things slip.

Planning & project management

  • You're excellent at planning, breaking down large initiatives into manageable pieces, and managing timelines. You anticipate blockers and plan accordingly.

Business acumen & analytical thinking

  • You understand how business metrics drive decisions. You're analytical and data-informed. You can sit at the table with stakeholders and contribute to strategic conversations about what to prioritize.

System thinking & automation mindset

  • You think about how to build systems and processes that reduce toil. You're comfortable with AI and automation concepts and want to leverage them to scale your impact.

Cross-org influence

  • You can drive initiatives and hold teams accountable without being their direct manager. You're skilled at navigating complex stakeholder relationships.

Experience & Background

  • 5+ years in product operations, product management, or a similar operations-heavy role
  • Proven success managing cross-functional initiatives or acting as a connector between multiple teams
  • Experience working in platform, infrastructure, or internal tooling (beneficial but not required)
  • Strong communication skills and comfort with ambiguity
  • Experience with project management and planning cycles
  • Familiarity with automation, documentation, and system thinking approaches
