Job Description
Product Operations is a small team of specialists at Wise. Our focus is the machine - the people, processes and practices - that builds our product. We work with autonomous product teams to help them move faster, stay aligned and build the right things for customers and partners.
Wise Platform is Wise’s infrastructure business. We work with banks, fintechs and global companies such as Monzo, Morgan Stanley and Google to embed Wise’s international money movement capabilities into the products their customers already use. That means Wise Platform teams solve both deep product infrastructure problems and practical partner problems: how to make cross-border money movement faster, simpler, more reliable and easier to scale through others.
You will act as the key Product Operations partner for Wise Platform. It is a complex, fast-growing area that brings together product, engineering, commercial, operations, compliance and partner-facing teams, so partners can build on Wise at scale.
In this brand new role and as the main point of contact for Wise Platform, you’ll be responsible for identifying and delivering ways to make Wise Platform product teams more effective. You’ll help teams improve how they plan, communicate, prioritise, learn from partners and measure progress. You’ll work closely with Wise Platform leadership and teams, while also connecting with other functions across Wise.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

What this will involve:
- Helping Wise Platform teams improve planning, prioritisation and follow-through, so product development is focused on the most important partner and customer problems.
- Improving how roadmaps, priorities and launches are communicated across product teams, partner-facing teams and the wider Wise organisation.
- Creating better feedback loops between partners, commercial teams and product teams, so partner needs are understood, prioritised and acted on.
- Supporting clearer decision-making on which products and capabilities we should scale, where we should focus, and where we should avoid adding unnecessary complexity.
- Establishing useful rhythms, rituals and ways of working that improve alignment without adding unnecessary process.
- Helping teams use data to understand the speed, quality and impact of product development, and to continuously improve how they work.
- Leading and supporting cross-functional initiatives where Product Operations can bring clarity, structure and momentum.
Qualifications
- You have significant relevant experience, likely gained over around 8+ years (though we value demonstrated impact, judgment, and transferable experience more than exact years of service) driving operational practices in fast-growing technology companies, working closely with product and engineering teams.
- You understand the bigger picture, are analytical, and can quickly assess, break down and prioritise problems and opportunities.
- You’re comfortable working in ambiguous environments and creating just enough structure to help teams move faster.
- You’re a strong communicator who can build relationships across product, engineering, commercial, operations and leadership teams.
- You can influence without authority and help teams make clear decisions with good rationale.
- You’re comfortable using data and qualitative insight to identify problems, measure progress and improve ways of working.
- You care about building healthy, effective teams and helping people connect their work to the Mission.
- You anticipate roadblocks, are resilient and are not easily disheartened.
- Experience in Product Operations, Product Strategy, Business Operations, Product Management, Technical Program Management or a similar role.
