At the AA, we’re building AI capabilities that create meaningful impact for our customers, colleagues and commercial performance. As part of our AI Centre of Excellence, this role offers the opportunity to shape and scale AI solutions across key commercial growth areas including pricing, acquisition, marketing and customer engagement.
As a Senior Product Owner, you’ll work at the centre of our AI mission, partnering with senior leaders and specialist teams to identify high value opportunities and turn them into measurable business outcomes. This is a highly visible, hands-on role where you’ll combine strong product thinking with practical AI delivery, helping take opportunities from early discovery through to implementation, adoption and continuous improvement.

What will I be doing?
- Partner with senior stakeholders across commercial and customer focused functions to shape and prioritise AI opportunities that drive growth and customer value
- Lead hands on discovery activity to define user problems, identify opportunities and develop AI use cases with clear, measurable outcomes
- Own and manage a prioritised AI portfolio and roadmap, balancing impact, feasibility, speed to value and risk
- Translate opportunities into actionable plans, working closely with specialist teams to move AI solutions from concept through to production, adoption and ongoing iteration
- Support the delivery of lightweight AI and automation solutions using configurable and low code tools where appropriate
- Drive adoption and value realisation through effective stakeholder engagement, training, measurement and continuous improvement
What do I need?
- Strong experience in Product Ownership or Product Management, with the ability to operate hands on across discovery, prioritisation, delivery and post launch improvement
- Practical experience of playing a significant role in taking at least one AI or Generative AI product, including an LLM based solution, from discovery through to production within an enterprise environment
- Good practical understanding of AI and Generative AI gained through delivery experience, with the confidence to translate business problems into appropriate AI opportunities and work effectively with technical specialists
- Excellent stakeholder management and facilitation skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and translate complex concepts into clear, compelling narratives
- Comfortable operating in ambiguity, coordinating across multiple teams and maintaining momentum from discovery through to delivery and adoption
- Strong analytical and outcome focused approach, using data, product metrics and user feedback to inform prioritisation, measure impact and drive continuous iteration
