Senior Product Owner – SaaS for Property Management

Location: Remote (UK-based), occasional visits to serviced offices in and around London.

The Role

We’re seeking an experienced Product Owner to lead the development of new products within our platform. You’ll work closely with leadership, clients, and internal teams to turn feature requirements into high-quality, scalable solutions that deliver real business value.

You’ll own your product backlog and collaborate with the CTO and development team using a Scrumban approach to ensure timely, high-standard delivery. This role requires someone who can balance technical depth with customer-facing communication, moving seamlessly between design workshops and business presentations.

What You’ll Do

  • Translate high-level product features into detailed requirements with clear acceptance criteria.
  • Own and manage the delivery backlog for your products, refining features, writing user stories, and prioritizing work.
  • Coordinate timelines and releases, ensuring developers have clear goals and milestones.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing and draft release notes/help centre updates.
  • Work closely with internal teams (marketing, development, customer support) to refine requirements and communicate progress.
  • Support the development team by removing blockers and clarifying requirements quickly.
  • Provide assistance to the Customer Support team for live product issues when needed.

Who You Are

  • 3+ years’ experience as a Product Owner, Functional Designer, or Delivery Lead.
  • Ideally experienced in a B2B SaaS environment, preferably property management or financial software.
  • Strong technical writing skills and ability to create functional specifications and screen/data designs.
  • Comfortable with SQL for data extraction and JSON for data manipulation.
  • Bonus: Experience with AI/ML, native apps, or financial/property software.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A proactive, collaborative mindset with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced agile environment.
