SENIOR PRODUCTION ENGINEER | Reading | Full Time, Permanent

Production Engineering. NPI. Scale-up. Complex products.

If you're a Production, Manufacturing or NPI Engineer who enjoys taking technically complex products from development into reliable, repeatable production, this could be a great next move.

This isn't about maintaining an existing process, it's about shaping it.

You'll have real ownership of how products are manufactured, tested and scaled, working closely with Engineering, Production and Quality to solve problems and make things better.

THE ROLE

You'll be involved across:

  • Manufacturing & production process development
  • NPI and production scale-up
  • Equipment, automation and test solutions
  • DFM / DFA and design improvements
  • Assembly, test and calibration methods
  • Root cause analysis & technical problem-solving
  • Improving efficiency, reliability and repeatability
  • Working closely with Engineering, Quality & Production
  • Providing technical guidance across the production team

WHO ARE THEY LOOKING FOR?

You might currently be a:

  • Production Engineer
  • Manufacturing Engineer
  • NPI Engineer
  • Process Engineer

What's important is that you can work with complex products, solve manufacturing problems and help move products from prototype/development into repeatable production.

Experience with some of the following would be valuable:

  • NPI / New Product Introduction
  • Manufacturing or Production Engineering
  • DFM / DFA
  • Automation or equipment integration
  • Test, measurement or calibration
  • Root cause analysis
  • Continuous improvement
  • Complex electrical, electronic or electromechanical products

An engineering degree or equivalent technical background would be advantageous.
