Are you a strategic security leader ready to define and scale production security standards across two continents? Amazon MGM Studios is seeking a Senior Production Security Regional Manager for Europe and Africa who combines deep expertise in physical risk management, risk forecasting, and risk mitigation with the strategic vision to transform how we protect global film and television productions.
This role requires someone who operates with minimal governance, sets vision for strategically important initiatives, and works across multiple organizations to own programs and complex solution strategies that meet executive scrutiny. You will apply deep understanding of physical risk management, risk forecasting, and mitigation methodologies to production security—designing scalable frameworks, engaging internal and external stakeholders, and driving continuous improvement of our security posture across Europe and Africa.
The ideal candidate brings extensive experience in security risk management roles, with expertise that spans multiple complex environments and the ability to translate complex regulatory and industry requirements into actionable production security strategies. You must be able to advise Directors and VPs, serve as a tie-breaker on critical security decisions, and create collaborative solutions with regulators, law enforcement, and industry bodies that elevate our security standards.
The Senior Production Security Regional Manager defines and scales professional security services across Amazon MGM Studios productions throughout Europe and Africa. Working strategically across organizations, you will own end-to-end physical risk management programs, develop comprehensive risk forecasting frameworks, and create innovative methodologies for physical asset protection that satisfy demanding operational and stakeholder requirements.
Your work is strategic in nature. You handle significantly complex problems, decisions, and escalations—designing, testing, and inspecting scalable solutions that align teams and organizations towards simple, coherent approaches. You apply expertise across multiple physical risk domains and types of complex production environments, creating cross-organizational structures and mechanisms that drive efficiency and consistency.
You serve as the subject matter expert on production security for the region, advising senior studio leadership (Directors and VPs) on proactive risk forecasting and mitigation strategies. You reduce complexity by creating collaborative solutions with regional regulators, law enforcement agencies, and industry bodies. Your judgment serves as the tie-breaker on decisions for how to respond to emerging threats, security escalations, and complex risk scenarios affecting production operations.

- Develop and implement comprehensive threat assessment and risk forecasting methodologies tailored to production environments across diverse European and African jurisdictions
- Define business strategy for regional production security, establishing new operational models and risk mitigation standards that account for varying threat landscapes
- Apply deep understanding of context, capabilities, and opportunities to reduce complexity—creating collaborative solutions with regulators, law enforcement, and industry partners
- Serve as tie-breaker on critical security decisions affecting production operations, balancing creative enablement with compliance obligations
- Drive impact across 2-3 production security domains (physical risk management, threat forecasting, asset and personnel protection) and multiple regions
- Synthesize insights across security, business, operational, and stakeholder domains to drive proactive adaptations to the production security program
- Align teams and organizations towards simple, coherent approaches to production security—creating and optimizing cross-organizational structures and mechanisms
- Transform vendor management by defining new performance standards, governance models, and risk mitigation frameworks that reset industry expectations
- Develop comprehensive metrics, reporting systems, and decision-support documentation for production security programs

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
