At ClearSpace, we believe in reusability, in affordability driving disruption, and that no progress is real unless it is sustainable.
Our company was founded in 2018 out of the realization that in-orbit servicing and space debris removal are vital services for the future of space exploration and operations. Today ClearSpace has assembled an expert engineering team and is leading the way toward sustainable space operations. From a garage in Switzerland, we now operate across UK and Europe, and are working with world-leading institutions and companies to bring our dream of a sustainable space ecosystem to life.
Motivated to join us and make a difference beyond earth? We are currently looking for a Senior PA/QA Engineer to join the London team.
The Role
As a Senior PA/QA Engineer at ClearSpace, you will play a key role in ensuring that every mission and product meets the highest standards of safety, reliability, and performance. You will be actively involved in Product and Quality Assurance (PA/QA) activities across all phases of our programs—from design collaboration and risk assessment to investigative reviews during AIV (Assembly, Integration, and Verification). You’ll contribute to process improvements, support certification efforts, and help embed a culture of quality and continuous improvement. This is a hands-on role suited for someone who enjoys working closely with technical teams and diving into the details of complex space missions.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
